Website Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

New Frontier Health Pty Ltd, trading as Sports.care (“we”, “us”, “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website (sports.care), in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Using the Sports.care portal? This policy covers only this marketing website. The Sports.care portal — where clinicians conduct screenings and where player health information is handled — is governed by a separate platform Privacy Policy that you accept when you create an account at portal.sports.care. We do not collect player or health information through this website.

1. Who we are

Sports.care is a free sports healthcare screening initiative that brings together GPs, allied health clinicians and specialists to provide musculoskeletal screening for grassroots sports clubs. This website is our public, informational site — it lets you learn about the service, enquire about a screening day or about joining as a clinician, and get in touch with us.

2. What information we collect

Through this website, we collect only the information you choose to give us and basic technical data:

  • Enquiry details — if you submit a form (such as booking a screening day or enquiring about joining as a clinician), the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, club name, and your message.
  • Usage and technical information — basic log data such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit.

We do not collect player information, health information, or any screening data through this website. That information is only ever handled within the Sports.care portal, under its own privacy policy.

3. How we use it

We use the information collected through this website to:

  • respond to your enquiry about a screening day or joining as a clinician;
  • operate, maintain, secure and improve this website; and
  • meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.

4. Disclosure

We may disclose the personal information collected through this website to:

  • Service providers — trusted third parties who help us run this website and respond to enquiries (such as website hosting and email providers), under arrangements that require them to protect your information.
  • Regulators or authorities — where required or authorised by law.

5. Data storage and security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information collected through this website against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We retain enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond to you and for our records, or as required by law.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers that help us run this website may store or process information overseas. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Access and correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you from this website, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Use the contact form on our home page to make a request.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and understand how the site is used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

9. Security verification (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse. When you submit a form, Turnstile may collect certain technical data (such as browser characteristics and interaction patterns) to verify that you are a real person. This data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. in accordance with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy. No personal information you enter into the form is shared with Cloudflare through Turnstile.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
